A young couple braces for a visit from a decorated veteran whose fragile mental state cannot withstand stress. Tea, small talk, and travel stories take a sharp turn when everyday noises trigger violent flashbacks and dissociation. A therapist is called and delivers one strict instruction: do not interfere, no matter what happens. Caretaking crosses boundaries. Boundaries collapse entirely. While the junior watches in disbelief, “therapy” transforms into something disturbingly physical, and the line between trauma response and manipulation blurs beyond recognition.
